Maspalomas_cambio_dia_notasDear parents,

Due to the report day falling on a “National Strike” day we have decided to bring forward the appointments to Wednesday 28th  March. The times have not altered. If you have a problem with the new date, please contact the teacher.

Dear Parents and pupils,

As you all know, there will be a General Strike on 29th March. Therefore, the after school bus service will be cancelled. Everything will be running as normal, except that there will be no buses after the school activities on that day (29/03/2012), so pupils who are down for any activity next Thursday and use the school bus service to return home, must be collected by their parents. We apologise for the inconvenience and many thanks for your cooperation.

SSM10002_-_150Last weekend eighteen students from S6c successfully completed their expedition for the Bronze Award. The group spent two days hiking in the mountains and one night camping and cooking. Despite the adversities encountered over the course of the weekend, all the students demonstrated tremendous determination and resilience. Thanks to their problem solving, communication and teamwork skills they were able to work together as one to face the challenges which arose in the true spirit of the award.

clownmeThe primary students had a wonderful day out on Wednesday.    First we got on the bus and went to the Parque Romano.  There we had our snacks and had enough time to use the fabulous recreational park facilities.  After that we got back on the bus and went to the Cuyas Theatre.  We watched Don Quijote performed by clowns.  It was terrific!!!  To finish the day we had a picnic in the Parque Rehoyas.   There were lots of fun things to do.  We even had a go on the zip wire.  Miss Paula and Miss Claudia had a race on it! What a great day!

show-tv_11423P1 and P2 show has now been moved to Wednesday 28th March at the same time (11:00).

On Thursday 15, P5 children from both schools took part in a boat trip from Arguineguin to Mogan as a part of their transition process. We travelled on the Blue Bird Catamaran and studied the various coastline and marine life along the way.
