S5: UK University Visits (22 students).

A group of 22 students from S5 recently visited the UK and several universities (University of the West of England, Bath Spa University, London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College, Kings and Queens... among others).

The purpose behind the UK-University Visit programme as a whole is to provide our students with as much of an opportunity to visit UK Universities as possible, so that making a decision as to whether studying in the UK is a viable option for them. Because of the diverse and broad nature of students, courses, universities and campuses, it is impractical to arrange whole-group visits to all Universities, or indeed, all Universities with identified specialisms. To accommodate as many needs of Canterbury Students as possible, and to show the diversity of Universities on offer, we visit Bath and Bristol first and then time is set aside for students to visit Universities of their choice, independently, by prior arrangement in London.
