10-06-2008 Activity Week

K3 and P1 from Maspalomas went to Mogan for the day. Firstly we had our snacks in the square and fed the fish lots of bread. Then we went on a little walk around the harbour where we drew a picture of a submarine that was out of the water. Then we went to the beach. We played on the sand, paddled in the sea and had a sandcastle competition. Some of our Mums and Dads helped us to build some amazing castles, but our favourite part was knocking them all down at the end! We had a great time in Mogan and we were so tired that we all fell asleep on the bus back to school!

P4 and P5 were lucky enough to learn first hand how electricity is formed and how we can protect the Earth by using more earth friendly methods. We saw how electricity can be formed by using free resources, such as the sun, wind and water to make electricity, which doesn't pollute the planet like Power stations do. We are all strong believers in saving our planet for future generations. Thanks goes to Mr Fernin Lopez (Elio's father, P4) for organising the visit.
