Secondary meeting (Parents).

Dear Parents:

We would like to cordially invite you to a meeting to be held in the Dining Room in the secondary department on
Tuesday, 5th June, at 4.15 pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with information about the changes that will be made next year when the
students who are currently members of S2 will move into the Upper School here and begin to study for their IGCSE
subjects ( The International General Certificate of Secondary Education ).

Students in S3 and S4 will have to study English, Mathematics, Science, Lengua, Sociales, French or German ( in most
cases ) and non-examination P.E. However, in addition, they must also choose to study two other subjects at IGCSE
level. These subjects, known as the Options, are Art, Business Studies, Geography, History, ICT, Music and Examination
P.E. You will be given information about the content of all the subjects to be studied. The Option subjects are
timetabled in two blocks and the children must study one subject from each block. This will be discussed in detail at the
meeting.

Also, we shall provide parents with information about the various requirements of the Spanish and English educational
systems in preparation for next year.
