Infant
The Canterbury School of Las Palmas has two main departments, Primary and Secondary. The head of the primary department ensures that there is co-ordination between the Infant and Junior Sections which are housed in different buildings. The Infant section is in a large converted house with an ample playing area for the little ones in Rubén Darío nº 4 in Ciudad Jardin. Pupils spend the first three years of their school career in this building where the whole emphasis is on early education. Here the classes are small and the accommodation spacious for their needs. School dinners are served in a separate dining room and there is also an infant library and audio-visual room as well as an area for drama and movement. |
