Our Players in the Canarian ‘Infantil’ Preselection


Canterbury Lions would like to congratulate Gabriel Navarro Muñoz, Enrique Sánchez Salinero and Isabel Martínez Vara de Rey Maestre as they have been selected to form part of the final group from which the Canarian Autonomic Infantil Team will be chosen during the play off games from the 5-8th December.
The boys will play in Gran Canaria and the girls in Tenerife.

Los entrenamientos los vamos a comenzar progresivamente:

9 de septiembre: chicos de P6 y las chicas de P6, S1 y S2
10 de septiembre: chicos de S2
11 de septiembre: chicos de S1
15 de septiembre: chicos y chicas de P5, P4 y P3
22 de septiembre: chicos y chicas de P1 y P2

Canterbury Lions players in the Spanish Minibasket Selection.


This summer two of our players, Claudia Quevedo and Alberto Moreno, have been selected by the Spanish Basketball Federation to be part of the Spanish Selection in the age group. The meeting will take place in Collel, Girona-Cataluña between the 30th July and the 6th August.
We would like to congratulate both the players and their trainers for their constant hard work which has enabled them to obtain this success.
