The AS and IGCSE Business Studies group toured London last week in an effort to understand the systems and processes that contribute to a successful, integrated and strategic economy. With visits to the Royal Exchange and the Metal Exchange students were given firsthand experience of the fast-paced trading, buying and selling environment that enables market-orientated economies to operate. Students witnessed high intensity exchanges unfolding on the floor, thanks to traders running around waving bits of paper and shouting at one another, whilst speaking on not just one but two telephones!
On 17th February P2-P5 visited the Cueva Pintada at Gáldar. We had an enjoyable day and learned all about the Canarian settlers who made their homes in caves and painted them with natural minerals to decorate them.
Once again our annual LIONS basketball campus has arrived with the best basketball instruction, the AMERICAN, from Monday 5th April till Friday 9th April (The week after Easter). There will be music, games, competitions, and modern teaching techniques to improve our basketball skills. This is happening at the right moment as the Final Phase of this season is just around the corner and we have high hopes for the success of all our teams in the different categories of the championship. 10-03-2010 Cuartilla de Inscripción Campus Basket Semana Santa
