1-SCHOOL DAY YEAR 2010/2011
A group of 17 students from S5 are currently in the UK visiting several universities (University of the West of England, Bath Spa University, London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College, Kings and Queens... among others). As can be seen from the photographs attached, students are truly experiencing what university is about.
Pending the confirmation of the grades gained by one student, the 27 students who took these exams, their parents and the teachers can be very proud of themselves as 100% of the students passed. 4 students gained a grade between 9 and 10; 10 students between 8 and 9; 6 students between 7 and 8; 6 students between 6 and 7; and 1 student between 5 and 6. Congratulations to all for the hard work and the results

2-SCHOOL CALENDAR 2010/2011
The total amount of the school fees is divided into 10 monthly payments. The first payment for the following school year is charged in June. New enrolments must pay this amount as and when the place is reserved. The enrolment fee will be revised and adjusted when the child enters the school, according to the school prices for that year.
As you many know, in P6, S1 and S2 students have one reading lesson per week. While we have a selection of titles available for students in school, please find attached a recommended reading list for each year group which you may wish consult. It is NOT compulsary for your child to purchase/read these books; the lists are provided to help students and parents choose texts if they are unsure what might be interesting or suitable.
28-06-2010 P6 Reading List
The date for these is Monday 6th September from 8.45 am. Once students receive their global report, they must contact the teacher of the subject(s) failed by Tuesday 29th June in order to find out the content of the recuperation. P6 does not need to take recuperations. |
