Dear parents,First of all, we would like to thank parents and pupils for their contribution in the food collection for disadvantaged families. This month will be 3rd grade’s turn. We will be collecting breakfast food (cereal, powdered milk, sugar, drinking chocolate, biscuits) from now until 26th April.

K2 Sports Day was a huge success!!  All the children had a fabulous morning competing against each other on bikes and space hoppers and they really loved the obstacle race!  

Our Sports day event once again was enjoyed by all! Well done to the overall winner “Green” group who scored a sensational 1797 points! This year´s Super sprinters are: Ana P5, Erik P5, Noah P1 and Marta K3

Last weekend, a group of twenty three intrepid participants successfully completed their adventurous journey for the expedition section of their bronze award. After several months of detailed planning for the final event, the groups arrived at La Presa De Los Niños feeling a little apprehensive, but at the same time excited about the challenge ahead.

Dear Parents,

Friday 22/03/13 is the last day of the 2nd term. This day is a “NO UNIFORM DAY” so children can came dressed in their own clothes. Each class will organize a small party, so, if any parent would like to contribute something to eat to share in the class (sandwiches, fruit juices, etc.), this would be very much appreciated. The 3rd term will begin on Monday, 8/04/13.

After last years success, we are pleased to announce that on Friday 22 March we will be holding our annual Easter Egg competition. Each student who desires to take part should make their wonderful creations at home with art materials and a boiled /blown egg. Please, make sure it’s the “child´s” imaginative work!. Your child will be given a sticky label with a number to attach to their finished design. On Friday morning, they should take their creation with the numbered label to their class table in the dining room. On Friday 22 March students will receive their reports corresponding to the second term as well as a newsletter with information about end of year (June) dates.

Dear Parents,

Report cards will be handed out on Thursday 21^st March.  Please remember on that day children must be collected at 12.30. There will be a light lunch at 11:30 for those children who normally have school dinners. The school bus will be leaving at 12:30 therefore parents of children who use the school bus must contact the driver to confirm time of arrival. To avoid any problems with appointments you will be able to accept or change the times given. If it is not possible for you to attend, the report will be sent home with your child.

Congratulations to all of the children who took part in the Inter School Athletics Competition in Tafira. They all tried their hardest and behaved extremely well. A big thank you to the Duke of Edinburgh students for helping out with the various events. You were fantastic!
