This year’s Christmas Post Box will be to use on Monday 10th December. Your child can post a Christmas card to their friends or teacher. They must remember to put the name of the child and their class on the envelope, so it gets to the correct person. The cards will be delivered at the end of each week by our special postmen! Have fun and get writing!

international_awardBring hope to the children’. This is the slogan for the solidarity campaign that will take place in the secondary department from the 22nd November. Christmas time is approaching, and we believe that every child has the right to receive a gift at this time of year, however humble it may be. Presently, we find ourselves in a deep economic recession, but we consider this is not reason enough to make children lose their hope. Therefore, we are organizing the collection of imperishable food and non-war related toys in order to collaborate with the Christmas charity campaign which is run by ‘Casa de Galicia’.

IMG_0493_-_copiaLast 15 November P6 went through and unforgettable literary experience. After reading this term "El misterio de las afortunadas" by Juan Carlos Saavedra, our students followed the character's footsteps and "lived" with the author the chapters already read in school. We walked around Vegueta (Los Balcones, The Pilar Square , the Cathedral, Santa Ana Square...) where the plot of the novel takes place, until we reached Casa Colón. On top of all this, Juan Carlos chatted with the students who asked him interesting questions about the book

The children in P2 had a great time acting out their part for the 2 short plays they performed. The costumes were excellent and helped us envision the settings and characters.Well done, everyone!
