One of our pupils is asking for our help to collect breakfast food (cereal, powdered milk, sugar, drinking chocolate, biscuits) for disadvantaged families. Each month, a different year group will be in charge of the collection and every 3er week of the month, will be collected and taken to the charity organisation in “Nuestra Señora del Carmen”, who will ensure it goes to those that need it most. This month will be 1st grade’s turn.

P5 produced a sensational play on Macbeth. Their parents enjoyed watching them perform as they had worked very hard to transform into their Shakespearean characters. Mrs. Pritchard commented on how excited she was to have so many up coming actors next year. Fantastic!

Year after year our year 13 students move on to pursue their hopes and dreams in the career paths they have chosen. However, where do they go? After having received both PAU and A level results, the great majority of these students are presently beginning their studies at the universities of their choices both in Spain and abroad and we would like our parents to know where they have gone and what they have chosen to study. The attached documents contain the lists of last year’s year 13 students together with the universities and courses they chose to undertake. We would like to offer them all our most sincere congratulations and the very best of luck in their undergraduate studies.

Being accepted in Cambridge or Oxford is extremely hard and does not depend only in achieving excellent grades. Applicants need to go through a demanding interviewing process in addition to gaining outstanding grades in their A levels. We are proud to inform you that three of our students have successfully gone through the interviewing process and have been offered a place to study there, subject to gaining certain grades in the forthcoming A level examinations.

Youtong Song (Imperial College) YunFei Li (Cambridge) y Judit González (Oxford) are the names of the three S6 Canterbury School students who, no doubt about it, will meet the requirements and will be able to fulfill their dream. Congratulations to the three. Your teachers will support you to achieve success
