Dear Parents, we would like to inform you about the important dates until the end of June. We will be celebrating Canary Day on 29th May. Parents are invited from 10:00 until 12:30. Please see the letter attached for further information.

Dear parents, first of all, we would like to thank parents and pupils for their contribution in the food collection for disadvantaged families.This month will be 4th grade’s turn. We will be collecting breakfast food (cereal, powdered milk, sugar, drinking chocolate, biscuits) from now until 24th May. We would like to thank P3 pupils and their parents for the food received during the month of April. 

We are organizing an end of year camping for P5 pupils. To add details to the information, show photos, talk about the different activities and clarify any doubt you may have, there will be a meeting on 6th May at 4:10 pm in Miss Gill’s class. Due to traffic matters, please do not arrive before this time.

On 23rd April, the Primary Department celebrated International Book Day. The children took part in different book related activities and learned a lot about different authors. Well done children, we hope you had a lovely day!

On 21st and 22nd March, Canterbury School primary department performed the Lion King for over 300 children and adults. Every child in the school had a role in the performance and we are very proud of their efforts and professionalism. Congratulations to both the children and staff for an amazing show!

Dear Parents, last Monday we handed in to primary pupils, a letter informing about the reports afternoon which will be held next Monday 18th March. The parents who have been given appointments for the reports afternoon will receive them stapled to the report letter. If you haven't been given an appointment, but you wish to speak to the teacher, there will be an open hour, during the reports afternoon. 2nd term reports will be sent home in envelopes on Friday 15th March.

Last month we started a collection of breakfast food (cereal, powdered milk, sugar, drinking chocolate, biscuits) for disadvantaged families.  We would like to thank P1 pupils and their parents for the food received during the month of February.

The Primary department had a great day celebrating Carnival even though the weather was against us. The children did some exciting workshops and we managed to have a bit of a dance! I'm not sure who these people are but them seemed to enjoy the day too!!

Dear parents,

The last day of term, a Mufti Day was organized by the Primary Department in order to raise money for Charity. We are very pleased to inform you that the amount collected was 283,00€ and it has been divided between 2 organizations. Please see the attachment with the amount deposited in San Juan de Dios (143,00€).  We are still awaiting a written response from the other organization.  We would like to thank all the parents for the contributions.

Congratulations to the school choir for two wonderful performances, in Triana and in Las Canteras. Their singing was beautiful and their behaviour was excellent. Well done also, to Miss Gill and Miss Pam for all of their hard work over the past few months.

Once again Christmas is nearly upon us. This is such a busy time of the year that I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the dates of interest.

Dear parents,

We have decided to repeat our home school Christmas project which is now so successful. This Christmas our theme is a Christmas Angel. We invite parents to help their children to make the project which will be put on display in school and later be taken home. You can use a variety of materials such as plasticine, card, clay, dough, cardboard tubes etc. and can be decorated with sequins, doilies, paint, glitter, wool, fabric etc .

Dear Parents we'd like to inform you that pupils should come to school dressed in the proper school uniform, from Monday 5^th November and their P.E. kit in a bag the days they have physical education. Please see attached the P.E. timetable.

Dear Parents we'd like to remind you that the school photos will be on Tuesday 9th October. The children should come to school dressed in the proper school uniform from Monday 8th October.

Dear Parents,

Welcome back after the holidays. We hope you have had a relaxing and enjoyable time. In this letter we would like to remind you about a few matters related to school life.  Firstly, any questions you have in relation to your child’s education be it academic, social or emotional should initially be directed to the class teacher. If they are unable to resolve the issue it will be passed on to me.
