The children at Canterbury Infant School enjoyed and exciting Halloween party day! If was fun to come to school dressed up in Halloween costumes and take part in the "Frightful Fashion Show"!
On Friday 7th October our K1 students enjoyed a trip to Romano Park. They had a lovely time! Many thanks to the parents who were able to come and help us!
What a wonderful time we had this summer at the Summer School 2016 in Ruben Dario! English, art, cooking, games, water activities, sports, dancing, field trips, and so much fun. Enjoy the pictures!
Pirates came to Rubén Darío! As the K2 classes have been learning all about Pirates this term, on the 10th of June we had a Pirate Party, where our pirates paraded and danced and sang pirate songs! A fun day!
On the 27th May we celebrated Canary day. Everyone looked wonderful in their traditional costumes and the children enjoyed singing and dancing to our favourite Canarian songs!
Last Friday 12th February all the teachers and children danced their feet off to the fabulous music in their Carnival Party. We had great fun!
This term Miss Rachel started after-school Art classes. The children have enjoyed learning new techniques, such as working with oil pastel, and they have learned about the artist Kandinsky.
Congratulations to all the children in Rubén Darío for their fantastic Christmas Show. All the singing and speaking was amazing. Well done everyone!
Last Thursday 29th of October, lots of witches, ghosts, princesses, devils, and many more characters visited the Infant Department to celebrate Halloween!

Last Thursday the Infant Department had the pleasure of welcoming two firemen (one of them was the father of one of our pupils).
Congratulations to our beautiful ballerinas of Rubén Darío for their lovely show in the school theatre! They danced so well!

On Thursday 14th May, K3 children were lucky enough to visit the Elder Museum in order to discover and observe aspects of science through games. They had a blast!
What a lovely time K1 had at the Crocodile Park! They saw many different animals, as well as lots of very big crocodiles. Thank you to all the parents who came to help!
Yoga has many benefits, not only is it fun but it is an excellent way of combining game with relaxation, concentration and balance. Our K1 students know it very well!
As you can see from the photos, all the K2 children had a really fun time in their trip to the Elder Museum.
During the second term, in the Infant Department we celebrated some fantastic Sports Days. The kids had a wonderful time, it was so much fun!
