Les informamos de que ya hemos recibido las credenciales del Título de Graduado en Educación Secundaria de los alumnos que causaron baja al finalizar 4º de E.S.O., el pasado mes de junio y que reunían requisitos para ello.  Podrán retirar la credencial del título junto a los certificados de IGCSE, en horario de 8:30 a 16:30 en la secretaría principal, ubicada en el departamento de Primaria. Las credenciales se entregarán única y exclusivamente a sus titulares o a los padres de los mismos.

As we are at the start of a new school term, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you about the importance of checking your child’s hair regularly for head lice. With the co-operation of all parents we can control this problem and have fewer incidences of head lice in school.

Tutora_Lengua_EspaolaWe inform parents in this department that appointments can now be made through the office. Miss Fabiola, will be available on Tuesdays, Miss Ana on Wednesdays and Mr. Justo on Thursdays. Times will be given between 15:30 and 16:45, 15 minutes per appointment.

bachilleratoPupils who finished S6 last June can now collect their certificates of “Título de Bachiller”. Those pupils who have done “Selectividad”, must sent a certified copy to UNED in Madrid as soon as possible, so the “Tarjeta de Selectividad” is valid. A photocopy of the “Título de Bachiller” can be certify at the UNED in Las Palmas free of charge. The certificates will only be handed out to the pupils or their parents.

Parents of pupils in K0 y K1 are kindly requested to download and complete the attached questionnaire and give it to the secretary in Ruben Dario on the first day of class. If you wish your child to use the school bus service, please contact Teresita according to the instructions in The New School Year.
 
 
The central office in San Lorenzo will be open during July and August from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m..

For those pupils who took C.I.E. IGCSE, AS or A level examinations this year, please read the attached factsheet recently published by Cambridge explaining the meaning of the percentage uniform mark introduced in November 2010.
