P1 children had great fun making their junk model dinosaurs. First they designed their dinosaur and wrote a plan, then they learned some new skills and everyone was ready to get started. They worked really hard and the results were fantastic!
Our P5 students have created fantastic digital stories for a NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain) competition, with the title "I Like Technology, do you?". Well done for all your effort - the digital stories are very impressive!
Last Friday the children of P5B finished making their Christmas torches, decorating them with ribbons, card and wrapping paper. It has taken a lot of patience and problem-solving, but they finally got there. The results were spectacular!
Congratulations to Sara Ojeda Yanez whose poster has been selected to represent the school in the competition to design a poster for the Basketball World Cup (Gran Canaria Sede) All the children in 4º and 5º tried hard and there are some brilliant posters which you can see outside the dining room in the Primary Department.
Congratulations to Sofia Ransom of 3rd Grade, for coming second place in the Cuerpo Nacional Policia art competition. Well done to Miss Alison for her guidance and the rest of 3B who also created some fantastic pictures for the competition. Great news!
P6 students worked hard in term 1 learning all about Aboriginal art and color. They produced their very own papier mache boomerang and tested them out in the school playground. Many found the boomerangs came back to them with a little help from the wind. Well done to all of P6 art students who completed their boomerangs.
Well done Carla García Medina 5C for winning first prize in the Caja de Canarias Christmas Competition for her category. She thoroughly deserved to win and won prizes for herself, her teacher Miss Gill and the school!!.
